The true feeling of losing one

You always see it on the news, were someone has lost a loved one at such a young age. You always tend to feel bad for the family and just pray that it will never happen to you. But then one day out of the blue it does happen to you, and you are in total shock. Last Friday night I lost one of my younger cousins in a car accident. She was killed on impact. And all because someone some freakn' idiot didn't stop at a spot sign. I mean How does someone not stop at one of those?! It has been a tough past couple of days I must say. Her Dad was in Iraq at the time and her older sister had just left 2 weeks ago to start her carrer in the Air Force. Lucky for us Uncle Kevin ( Her Dad) was able to come home from his tour and stay home. My Aunt Ruth has been so strong through this whole process I don't know how she can be but I guess someone has too. You know I always knew there was a reason that I didn't know I would figure out until now, and that was why they bought a house with their backyard pretty much a cemetry. I guess everything happens for a reason and this is the reason that they would buy the house. A sad reason for sure but at least they will always know where she is. That Chelise sure was a crazy one thats for sure. But she was always there for her younger siblings and I think that they are going to miss that the most. Her funeral was a very tough one to say the least. I don't think I have seen that many kids in a long long time. There were about 200 high school kids there to show their respect for their deal friend, and most were in orange. Her favorite color. It was a sad and sarrow time but I have always felt that everything happens for a reason, even if at first we don't know that reason. It could take years to truly find the real reason of this sudden taking of our loved one. I will miss her little attitude that she always had. Very sweet girl I just wished I could get one last hug from her. Just one last one.

Rest In Peace Chelise Annette Locher. 11-25-91 to 9-5-08
